Top-notch salsa instruction for beginners through advanced. Experienced and well-known instructors, beautiful studio space and a friendly atmosphere. No experience necessary. First-timers will enjoy basic salsa steps and turn patterns. Seasoned dancers will learn more intricate moves. This class is a great way for singles to meet new people and for couples to connect.
-No partner necessary
-No preregistration required
-Learn at your own level (beginners and advanced are separate, after 5-min warmup)
-Drop-ins welcome come in any Friday at 7 pm (call first during holidays)
-The whole block has tons of restaurants to enjoy after class!
Salsa classes are held:
Every Friday night from 7-8 pm
Dance City & the Arts on 37 West Center Street, Southington, CT *
(in the "One Factory Square" building)
Per person: Only $15 per class
or
Prepay: $80 for 6 classes, or $135 for 10 classes
*The studio is located on 37 West Center Street in Southington. If you are coming down Queen Street it will turn into Main St. You will take a right after the big white congregational church onto Columbus Avenue (this is the same as West Center St). Just past the stop sign you'll see a big parking lot on your right and a sign that says "One Factory Square." That's the name of our building and we are on the second floor in the "Dance City & the Arts."
Directions from 84 West:
Take exit 32 (Queen St. exit)
right off the exit onto Queen St
Queen St becomes Main st
Go to the center of town, the YMCA and Center Street will be on your right, take a right onto the NEXT street which isColumbus Ave (after big Congregational church and the town green)
Columbus Ave will become West Center st. but you may never see the sign for West Center St. Right after the stop sign our building will be on your right, big parking lot titled ONE FACTORY SQUARE. Go to the second floor #202 Dance City & the Arts
